Job Description
Just Like Family Home Care is hiring compassionate and dependable Caregivers (Home Support Workers) to assist clients with daily living activities in their own homes. This role focuses on providing respectful, personalized care that supports independence, comfort, and dignity.
Qualified foreign candidates may be considered in accordance with Canadian employment and immigration regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Support daily routines including meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Help with mobility, transfers, and safe movement
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Observe and report changes in clients’ physical or emotional condition
- Follow individual care plans and company care standards
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive home environment
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous caregiving or home support experience is preferred
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude
- Basic understanding of personal care and hygiene
- Good communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and follow care instructions
- Caregiver training or certification is an asset
- Must be able to meet Canadian work eligibility requirements
Salary
CAD $17.00 – $21.00 per hour
