Job Description
We are looking for reliable and hardworking Building Maintenance Workers to maintain and repair the company’s facilities. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, problem-solving, and ensuring a safe and functional work environment. Training will be provided as needed, making this role suitable for both experienced and motivated entry-level candidates.
Salary
- CAD $18 – $26 per hour (depending on experience and location)
- Overtime pay according to Canadian labor laws
- Weekly or bi-weekly wage payments
Roles and Responsibilities
- Performing general maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting
- Inspecting buildings and facilities to identify repair or safety needs
- Operating and maintaining equipment and tools
- Responding to maintenance requests promptly
- Ensuring compliance with safety and building regulations
- Assisting with preventive maintenance schedules
- Keeping work areas clean and organized
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous maintenance or building repair experience is preferred but not mandatory
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repair work
- Ability to use hand tools and maintenance equipment safely
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labor
- Basic English communication skills preferred
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
