At Beretta Farms, we are seeking motivated and skilled individuals from around the world to joint our team as Agriculture / Dairy Farming Workers. Located in Canada, our farm is renowned for it’s sustainable and organic farming practices, specializing in dairy farming and agriculture. This is an incredible opportunity for foreign workers who are passionate about agriculture and want to contribute to the production of high-quality dairy products.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily tasks such as feeding, milking, and caring for livestock
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the barns and milking parlors
- Monitor the health of animals and report any issues to the farm manager
- Participate in breeding programs, including artificial insemination
- Operate and maintain farm equipment
- Manage and maintain accurate records related to herd health, milk production, and breeding activities
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient farm operations
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines
Requirements:
- Prior experience in agriculture or dairy farming is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Dedication to animal welfare and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Familiarity with basic farm equipment operation is an asset
- A willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing situations on the farm
- Physical fitness, as the role may involve lifting heavy objects and working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- A valid work permit or visa that allows employment in Canada (we can assist with the visa process if required)
- Good communication skills in English (speaking, reading, and writing)
