Job Description
Sylvan Star Cheese is hiring dedicated and detail-oriented Cheese Factory Workers to assist in daily cheese production and packaging operations. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy hands-on work in a food production environment and want stable employment in Canada’s dairy industry. Full training will be provided.
Salary
- CAD $16 – $22 per hour (depending on experience and shift)
- Overtime pay as per Canadian labor laws
- Weekly or bi-weekly wage payments
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assisting in cheese production, processing, and aging activities
- Operating basic food-processing equipment under supervision
- Cutting, wrapping, labeling, and packaging cheese products
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of production areas
- Following food safety and quality control standards
- Monitoring products for quality and consistency
- Supporting supervisors with daily production tasks
Qualifications and Skills
- No formal education required
- Previous food production or factory experience is an advantage but not mandatory
- Ability to work in a cool, clean food-processing environment
- Physically fit and able to perform repetitive tasks
- Basic English communication skills preferred
- Strong attention to detail and hygiene
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
