Job Description
NS Sheet Metal is seeking experienced and motivated Sheet Metal Workers to join its skilled trades team. This role is ideal for individuals with hands-on experience in metal fabrication, installation, and repair, who want to build a long-term career in Canada’s construction and manufacturing sectors.
Salary
- CAD $25 – $40 per hour (based on experience, skills, and project type)
- Overtime pay as per Canadian labor laws
- Weekly or bi-weekly wage payments
Roles and Responsibilities
- Fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal components
- Measuring, cutting, bending, and shaping metal using hand and power tools
- Installing HVAC ductwork, metal roofing, and cladding systems
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
- Inspecting finished work to ensure quality and safety standards
- Repairing or replacing damaged metal components
- Following workplace safety regulations and using protective equipment
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience as a sheet metal worker
- Knowledge of metal fabrication tools and machinery
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Physically fit and able to work at heights or confined spaces
- Basic English communication skills required
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship
- Safety-conscious, reliable, and team-oriented
