Job Description:
Agrium Inc, a leading global producer and distributor of agricultural products, is seeking experienced Farm Mechanics to joint our team in Canada. As a Farm Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of a wide range of agricultural equipment and machinery used on our farms.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on tractors, combines, sprayers, and other farm equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on agricultural machinery
- Maintain detailed records of all repairs and maintenance activities
- Collaborate with the farm operations team to ensure equipment is well-maintained and operating efficiently
- Provide on-site support and troubleshooting assistance to operators in the field
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Farm Mechanic or Agricultural Equipment Technician
- Proficient in the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of a variety of farm equipment, including tractors, combines, sprayers, and other machinery
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to different farm locations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
