Housing Management Representative
 Assigning accommodation to staff and consultants according to established policies and procedures.
 Ensure that before any moves in apartment has been cleaned and furnished apartments with good furniture.
 Laisse with the inventory team provide in each residence basic furniture and appliances as well as to change any
furnishings as needed according to records and how old an item is.
 Work closely with maintenance and cleaning volunteers to ensure flats are ready for occupation.
 Spearheading monthly flat inspection of four hundred shared flats to assess buildings and the living conditions of staff
and identify dwellings that need to go under renovation or preventative maintenance and work on them.
 Keep records of every inspected flat, flat gone on preventative maintenance as well as renovations.
 Maintaining the flats with regard to both ongoing corrective maintenance and periodic preventative maintenance.
 Promote initiatives on educating volunteers on relevant responsibilities of maintaining and taking care of their flats.
 Resolve any misunderstandings and or problems among over 500 staff in shared flats who bring complaints or any
form of discomfort from the flat or by a flat mate.
 Maintaining inventories of all major assets of the World Centre related to the residences and overseeing the delivery
of these items to the residences.
 Update weekly sheet of which inventory staff is on call each week.
 Assign and issue flay keys.
 Be in a flat for a day of move-outs and conduct a departure walk-through to ensure all is left clean and in good.

Project Manager
 Spearheaded the identification and renovation of volunteer dwellings.
 Collaborate with the management team in identifying flats that need to be prioritized for renovation projects.
 Laisse with our comptroller’s office for budget, legal office for verifying contractor(s) assigned for projects, and other legal.

This is an Emergency Preparedness Task Force in an emergency where, due to property damage (War, Fire, Flood, Earthquake) or limited access, staff members need alternative, temporary living arrangements that the team needs to provide.

 knowing of furniture inventory, especially in the Accommodations Warehouse
 Maintaining a monthly printed list of vacant flats and empty bedrooms.
 Have emergency bags on standby and have them changed every six months when not used.
 Assist in the identification of Bom shelters and placing blankets in Bom shelters in case there is a need for them.
 Maintaining a bi-annually printed list of House Committee contact information for the use of Emergency Managers
 Maintaining (monthly) an updated list of the consultants and their housing assignments
Response to Emergency:
 Move to the meeting point in the first hour of an emergency when it is safe to do so.
 Prepare all information and be ready to go to the Command Centre when asked to do so.
 Provide living space, as needed.
 Assist in relocating staff.
 Distribute keys.
 Distribute linen and bedding including visitor mattresses.
 Provide transportation for relocation, as needed.
 Assist with delivery of emergency food supplies and furnishings.
 Supplies for accommodation (i.e. blankets, sheets, visitor mattresses, etc.)
 Access to Clothing Exchange where staff can get clothes in case, they do not have any.
 Provide hot plates so staff can be able to cook.
