Pennwood Dairy Inc., a leading dairy farm in Canada, is currently seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to joint our team as General Farm Workers. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are looking to build a career in the agricultural industry and are seeking visa sponsorship. As a General Farm Worker at Pennwood Dairy Inc., you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our farm. You will be responsible for various tasks related to the care and well-being of our dairy cows and the maintenance of the farm.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with feeding, milking, and general care of dairy cows
- Perform tasks related to the cleaning of barns, equipment, and milking parlors
- Monitor herd health and report any issues or concerns to management
- Assist with the calving process and provide necessary support as required
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities
- Operate and maintain farm machinery as needed
- Support other team members in various farm-related tasks
Requirements:
- Prior experience working on a farm is preferred but not mandatory
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
- Able to work well independently as well as part of a team
- Physically fit and capable of performing demanding physical tasks
- Familiarity with operating farm machinery is an asset
- A valid driver’s license is preferred but not required
