At Aqua Terra Farms, we are currently seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to joint our team as Farm Workers. As a Farm Worker, you will play a vital role in helping us maintain our farm operations and achieve our goals. This job opportunity is open for both Canadians and foreigners.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in various farm-related tasks such as planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops
- Operate and maintain farm equipment and machinery
- Monitor growing conditions of crops, ensuring proper irrigation and pest control
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on farm infrastructure
- Participate in the cleaning, sorting, and packaging of harvested crops
- Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment
- Collaborate with fellow team members to achieve daily targets
Requirements:
- No previous farm-related experience is required; training will be provided
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
- An eagerness to learn and work as part of a team
- A valid work permit (for foreigners) or Canadian citizenship/residency (for Canadians)
- Able to communicate effectively in English (basic understanding is sufficient)
- A genuine interest in farming practices and sustainable agriculture is preferred but not mandatory
